Replacement Cabinet Doors
If you cringe when you walk into your kitchen, it may be time for some new replacement cabinet doors.
Some homeowners replace their cabinet doors in an effort to update the look of their cabinets. For example, if you have traditional (also know as framed) doors, you might replace your doors with a flat-paneled style to give your kitchen a more modern, minimalist feel. Further, replacing doors is a relatively inexpensive way to update your kitchen. To be sure, it's less expensive than replacing your entire cabinet structure. Depending on the complexity of your cabinet setup, you may be able to order the doors and install them yourself. However, if you have unique space requirements, a custom job may be in order. It's important to remember that if you replace the cabinet doors, you will probably also need to refinish the boxes to match the finish of the new doors. However, if you find that your cabinet structure is showing wear or losing its structural integrity, you might want to consider replacing both the doors and the boxes. Either way, the work can be done by you or a cabinet specialist. Consult a trusted cabinet specialist to determine which option might be best for you.
